About Dream for America

Dream for America, Inc. (DFA) is a national youth movement founded by then 16-year-old William He on July 4, 2023 focused on identifying, educating, and inspiring students to advance progressive American values like freedom, democracy, diversity, & economic opportunity. Our programs initiate conversations & empower informed civic and cultural engagement among young Americans. We also help young citizens develop the knowledge, skills, and motivation to meaningfully engage with their communities. With over 18,000 grassroots donors, a 1,000 person volunteer network spanning all 50 states, and a social media presence with 600,000 followers and 400 million impressions — Dream for America is the fastest-growing youth organization in the country rivaling far-right groups like Turning Point USA. Students and young people across America are fed up with extremist ideologies that are tearing the fabric of our country apart, and we are waking up. Dream for America is working tirelessly everyday to actively engage with the culture and move the needle! Through non-partisan debate, dialogue, & discussion, Dream for America believes that every young American can be enlightened towards real democratic values and inspired to usher in a new wave of pro-democracy progressivism echoing the visions of Franklin Roosevelt & John F. Kennedy. Since our founding, Dream for America has embarked on a mission to build the most organized, active, and powerful pro-democracy grassroots network both online and on-campuses across the country to offer young liberals a sense of belonging and community, leadership development, & pathways to civic engagement and social change.
