About Drew University Tilghman International Center
Drew University provides an outstanding student experience for international students each year. Drew’s location in Madison, New Jersey, gives students the best of both worlds. Students get to live and learn in a relaxed college town while having the option to hop on a train to New York City in less than an hour. With a focus on experiential learning, here at Tilghman International Center, we offer great opportunities for academic, social, and cultural enrichment. Our six different semester programs in New York City allow students to get real-world experience with Wall Street, the United Nations, contemporary art, communications and media, social entrepreneurship, and the New York Theatre. Our courses are designed to prepare students for studying in the US, so that they seamlessly transition into a traditional American university degree program. Providing International Year One, Graduate Pathway, Academic English, and Study Abroad with English programs, Tilghman International Center is an exciting and diverse destination for students. Drew gives students the liberal arts advantage, meaning students learn a variety of subjects that will inform their degree as a whole. With zero classes taught by graduate assistants, students get to learn directly from their professors. On top of that, Drew class sizes boast a 10:1 student-faculty ratio, so students won’t get lost in a giant lecture hall.
