DREXA (Dream-Execute-Achieve) 'Empowering children to Dream, Execute and Achieve their sporting goals.' DREXA is an organisation that is committed to helping children growing up in third world economies fulfil their potential and succeed in sport. We are a young and very small charity setting out to make big changes starting in a city called Gboko in Benue State, Nigeria. Gboko is a place where the majority of the population live below the poverty line, with a lack of education. The city lacks any respectable sporting facilities and opportunities and our aim is to change this situation. The vision is to provide the people of Benue State, Nigeria with a unique opportunity to engage in many sports and activities with coaches and players from other cultures. We believe all people should have the opportunity to enjoy sports in a safe and well maintained environment. DREXA aims to provide opportunities to learn and play sports in programs and teams coached, organised and managed by volunteers working to achieve qualifications and certificates provided by DREXA. The institute aims to positively impact the lives of the Benue people we also wish to help volunteers improve as people and coaches while working for DREXA Institute.
