As part of The Create Group, Drinkcreate is a UK-based independent consultancy and product development laboratory specialising in the drinks industry. The company was co-founded in 2001 by Fred Jones and Mervyn Hollamby. Fred previously had a highly successful career as Head of Drinks Development for Mars Drinks globally, as well as holding senior product development positions with Unilever Bestfoods and Lyons Tetley. Mervyn held senior commercial positions within the IT, Defence and Mining industries. The company quickly built its reputation as a beverage development laboratory with expertise in functional ingredients and value added products, excelling in the use of natural ingredients and working with challenging product formulations and processes. This specialist expertise has helped lead many clients to award-winning success both in the UK and across the world. Since then, Drinkecreate has grown beyond the laboratory to become a leading European consultancy with expertise in beverage markets, product formulation, supply chains, manufacturing, distribution and regulations. Our experienced team includes food scientists, nutritionists, production engineers, quality and food safety auditors, production engineers, designers and project managers.
