About Driven Financial

We are Monica Thurman and Tomas Avalos, a duo that has been in the insurance industry for over 30 years. We founded Driven Financial in 2017 with the goal of providing top-quality life insurance and annuities brokerage services, as well as financial education to the masses. In the beginning, our business was based in San Diego and we quickly gained a reputation for excellence. However, when the coronavirus pandemic hit, we knew we had to make a change. We made the difficult decision to take agent trainings into a virtual space, close our San Diego office and move to a "small" town in the heart of Southern California, Lake Elsinore. Although the transition was tough at first, the community of Lake Elsinore welcomed us with open arms and we've become very active in the community. In addition to providing excellent insurance and annuities brokerage services, we are also passionate about supporting our community. We sponsor the local water polo club and softball league, encouraging the youth to stay active and have fun. We believe in building trust and relationships within the community and are always looking for ways to give back.
