Drivetec started operations in mid 2006 concentrating on plant maintenance, machine repair, fabrication and general engineering. Over the past years our products and services have evolved to meet our client’s requirements and thus we acquired and were awarded certain prime distribution agreements. This has enabled Drivetec to serve our clients more comprehensively by offering an extensive range of products with technical expertise. Drivetec has been awarded distributorship for the RKB brand range of Bearings. RKB is a Swiss manufacturing organization operating in the bearing industry for over 70 years, with 90.000 sqm and 135 million Euros of tangible assets and a monthly production capacity exceeding 350 tons of steel. Drivetec is proud to be the only distributors in Africa of the RKB Bearing range. In 2007 Drivetec was awarded a distribution agreement with SEW Eurodrive and are proud to be associated with them. We look forward to servicing the industry while having a premium product and back up facilities such as SEW Eurodrive in support of us. Drivetec has been very successful and will continue to commit ourselves to this quality product and back up service that is offered by SEW Eurodrive. At Drivetec we distribute the complete SRB range of split roller bearings and have completed a change out and assessment of SRB units used at ArcelorMittal Tubular Products. Drivetec has been awarded distributorship for the DIAMOND brand range of chain which is being used at ArcelorMittal (Vanderbijlpark) with great success. Along with the DIAMOND product we also do a full range of transmission products.
