Drogas is the largest chain of retail stores in the segment of beauty care, health, hygiene and household goods in Latvia and Lithuania. Our customers in Latvia have access to 99 stores and the e-store www.drogas.lv. The first Drogas store was opened in Riga, Latvia, in 1993 and was the first self-service store in Baltics, which offered new concept of shopping. Drogas started offering absolutely new retail format and begun developing completely new shopping habits. During first 5 years of the company stores were located only in Riga, but after that begun a rapid expansion and new stores were opened in other regions of Latvia. In 2001 first Drogas store was opened in Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania. By now store chain has gained significant and fast-growing position in the Lithuanian market. Drogas is part of AS Watson Group, the world’s largest international health and beauty retailer operating over 17,000 stores under 12 retail brands in 31 markets, with over 130,000 employees worldwide. For the fiscal year 2024, AS Watson Group reported revenue over US$24 billion. Every year, it is serving over 6 billion shoppers via its O+O (Offline plus Online) platforms, providing tech-enabled retail experience to customers offline and online.
