Back in 1979, when the first production plant of DROMEAS S.A. was built in the Industrial Area of Serres, Greece, it is certain that we had a vision for the future. But, no one could ever imagine that a Greek company would become the sole supplier of office furniture of the European Commission’s services around the globe. Today, after 30 years, we are sharing the pride and joy that the contract of the exclusive supply of office furniture to all Institutions and Directorates of the European Commission gives us. These years were not easy, neither success was accidental. It came as a result of a coordinated effort of DROMEAS’ people, the continuous investing and adherence to our three non-negotiable goals; quality, consistency and high added value, through vertical integration of production. These are the secrets of DROMEAS’ success, which become obvious to everyone that either visits our production facilities or uses our products. Investing in research and development of new products cooperation with worldwide distinguished designers and 37 years of experience in manufacturing, we continue the tireless course of DROMEAS to a promising and exciting future. DROMEAS’ production is vertical integrated with five independent specialized manufacturing plants, placed in the Industrial Area of Serres, on a single land plot of 115.000 m2. These facilities include the processing and coating of wood, processing and coating of steel, die casting of aluminium, injection of plastic, injection of p.u. (polyurethane), production of metal components, production of seating and upholstery, production of partition walls and production of moulds for aluminium and plastic components.
