Talking about mental health isn’t always easy—whether we’re experiencing our own struggles or reaching out to support a loved one. But taking off our ‘masks’ - the ones we wear when we say, “I’m fine” even when we aren’t, is arguably the most important thing we can do to support ourselves and each other. Drop the Mask YYC encourages others to drop their metaphorical ‘masks’ by showing others that it’s okay to be vulnerable. This fabulous, black tie masquerade party is about community, connection, and giving back. And it’s about reminding each other that opening up and sharing our struggles isn’t weakness—it’s courage. And we all deserve to be heard.
