Re-founded by Jan Mayland on 10/10/10, Originally DryTank Shipping A/S was a danish brokerhouse established in Copenhagen in 1972 The Company has 1 employee. DryTank.dk is the chartering and broking arm of E-CO2 doing biomass deals ww with partners to a long row of clients within Paper Pulp, MDF and Energy. DryTank focus on chartering vessels for biomass, and logs based on contracts engaged by E-CO2 and E-CO2's partners in USA, Europe,Asia and South America. NEWS: 2017-2018 April 2018 after 2 years of Work we have finalized the design for the coming short sea Wood Chip Carrier FOV5000. DNV-GL has been very helpfull in assisting us to trace showstoppers in the project, and now we are ready to build the ships. Our FOV design is vertually able in its consumption profile of fossil fuel to reduce the CO2 and NOx and Particles to reach those conditions of the COP21 global emission agreement. We reduce consumption at sea by 35% for similar size ships, With Waste Heat recovery units, we actually enhance another 10-12% power to the ship and lower the comsumption Grams per KW with almost 20g achieving same consumption Grams per KW output as if the ship was a 20000+ DWT with larger engine. The Vessel has the largest loaded containerintake of any 5000 DWT ship designed. NEWS: 2016-2017 DryTank.dk has together with Partners UINK and Designers FOR-MER designed the most advanced short sea ship concept, where One Hull can be used to build a ship in several segments.
