Recruiting People Talent is often a difficult job, made even more so when Recruiters, on average, spend up to 40% of their time using LinkedIn to source new candidates. Surely your skills are better suited to engaging, nurturing, and hiring the right candidates. That’s where I come in, to help provide those candidates to your Talent team in a cost-effective manner (charged by the hour for work done, not as a % of salary). Defining the right search criteria on LinkedIn can often be more of an art than a science. How often have you ended up with a pool of 750+ potential candidates, far too many to look through. You then add another filter and the pool goes down to 12 candidates, way too few to provide a decent short list. I do all of this, skilled, but time-consuming work so that your team don’t have to. I relish the challenge of refining searches to get the right number of candidates (usually 150 – 300, from 6 – 10 searches), looking through their profiles and evaluating each one against the client’s job specification to get to a prospect pool that the client has the time to assess. A recent Search produced the following, typical, figures: - Profiles researched - 230 Candidates put in Project – 63 Candidates contacted after discussion with client – 32 Shortlisted candidates presented to client – 6 Recruited 1 I work alongside a companies Talent team, providing them with either just a search capability, or a search and initial contact service. My background, as CEO of a FTSE quoted company, gives me an understanding of most functions within a Corporate, and, using a good job specification, I can search within almost any sector.
