The core manufacturing programme of the company is development and manufacturing of turnouts and their components; these activities are accumulated in the largest organisational unit of the company, the Výhybkárna (pointworks) plant. The Pointworks plant dedicates much of its attention to the development of turnout technology, especially in application of new materials and technology which assist in improving the quality and service life of the products. As of lately, we have been focusing on application of manganese steels and pearlitisation of the material of the most exposed turnout components. To achieve superb work quality and efficiency, we use two machining centres by Waldrich Coburg especially for milling the crossings and turnout switch rails.
