Not Your Typical Bean Counter. DTA has been an industry leader in freight transportation auditing since 1920. Our success over so many years can be attributed to good old-fashioned ethics and values. We give clients (and their carriers) the service they expect, and so much more. About Melissa Gracey President and CEO of DTA Melissa was introduced to the transportation industry the year she was born. That was the year her father bought a small unknown company called DTA that employed only three people. Fast forward many decades, DTA is now the leader of it’s industry representing hundreds of clients in three continents. Melissa always knew she wanted to work in the business world. After graduating from McGill University with an Economics degree in the early ’80′s, she remembers putting on her best business suit and distributing her resume to offices in downtown Toronto. After taking the Canadian Securities Course, she spent time in the Investment Industry and it was there that she learned about many aspects of finance. She joined DTA later and and steadily implemented new computer automation, ramped-up staff training, and introduced client and carrier quality programs to meet the needs of DTA‘s growing client base. Today, as President and CEO, Melissa exemplifies DTA‘s core values of dependability, trustworthiness, and accountability and is supported by a talented team responsible for: Quality, Human Resources, Special Projects, Information Technology Client/Carrier Service and Business Solutions who continue to introduce innovations that help clients ship smarter.
