Dublin University Computer Science Society (DUCSS) is a prominent technical society within Trinity College Dublin. Our main membership comprises students pursuing Computer Science, a highly demanding and dynamic discipline at Ireland's highest-ranked university. The Computer Science course endows students with vital technical competencies, while also instilling essential soft skills like problem-solving, critical thinking, and collaborative abilities. DUCSS is also a home for students from diverse academic backgrounds such as Engineering, Mathematics, and even those with a keen interest in eSports. DUCSS is dedicated to cultivating a vibrant, engaging atmosphere for exploring the multifaceted field of Computer Science and related areas. Throughout the year, we conduct various workshops, hackathons, and eSports related events, alongside an array of social activities such as gaming tournaments, trips, and networking sessions. Our society is also the proud host of the DUCSS room in the Hamilton building, a creative space where members gather to interact and leverage the available resources and infrastructure.
