We dug deep and discovered a new, plant-based alternative for making drinks: the genius potato. DUG, our new potato-based drink is deliciously creamy, makes perfect foam in coffee, works just like any other milk, and just so happens to be the most sustainable alternative on the market. Genius, right? DUG will be launching in early 2021, created by Veg of Lund, an innovative Swedish company, rooted in scientific food research at Lund University, Sweden. Our mission is to make it easy for you to make a no compromise, plant-based, tasty and sustainable choice, free from common allergens, that will benefit your health, society and the future of our planet. Above all, we are committed to maintaining a low ecological footprint, through efficient land use, low water consumption, and sustainable packaging. Our first product, My Foodie®, launched in 2018, was crowned "Best Convenience Food" at the World Food Innovation Awards in London, March 2018. It was also finalist in 3 other categories, including “Best Free From Product”, “Best Brand/New Business”, and “Best Technology Innovation”. Listed on the Swedish Stock Exchange since February 2020, Veg of Lund is now expanding into the UK, China, and the USA, with an innovative pipeline of plant-based, tasty and sustainable products, free from common allergens, that will benefit people’s health, society and the future of our planet.
