It was over 30 years ago that my dad spotted a ‘For Sale’ sign while camping at Sandbanks in Prince Edward County. A quick drive up Salmon Point road revealed a small cottage on a beautiful waterfront lot and, after a quick consultation with my mom, our family soon became the proud owners of a new summer home. The cottage, that came to be known as Reggie’s Dugout, served as a hub of activities from afternoon baseball games with the neighbours, body surfing the waves, to late night campfires. In time, we outgrew the Dugout and built a larger log cabin that could accommodate the growing number of friends and family that wanted to share in our little slice of paradise. The wonderful memories that we’ve cultivated in The County inspired the purchase of the waterfront property that we’re currently developing. By June 2018, we plan to have two 25 acre lots (each with 200 feet of waterfront) that are fully serviced with hyrdro, water and a new access road. We’ve even built a tiny house, inspired by the Dugout, that will allow the new owners to move right in and start to create their own memories. We plan to use this page to share our journey, through photos and videos, while also providing additional information on the property and answering any questions from prospective buyers.
