Duke and Dutch is the newest generation in a family legacy of jewellers and watchmakers that extends to the 1600s. Rolf Werndle is its driving force. His passion combines time-honoured, quality craftsmanship with cutting-edge design. Having worked with his parents in jewellery from an early age, Rolf is at home in the world of design and adornment. The blend of a creative education as a jewellery designer and experience working with some of South Africa's top jewellers has led Rolf to create Duke & Dutch, a showcase of his unique style. The designs capture the African soul, marrying clean, modern lines with naturally inspired shapes. His collections include flowing and feminine pieces for women; and distinctive, bold styles for men. Quality and attention to detail is paramount. Each piece destined to become a cherished treasure. Rolf's award-winning design skills combined with his goldsmithing talents give each hand-crafted piece a personal and unique feel. All jewllery pieces are conceived and made entirely in the Mother City, proudly carrying the label "born in Cape Town".
