About duller/stippl

Anita Duller and Hannah Stippl paint murals and use the traditional technique of painting with pattern rollers in a completely new way to create exiting dense structures. Thus they open a wide field for never before seen wall designs and new dimensions of space: So a living room becomes the talk of the town, a children's room the favorite place and old furniture is suddenly no longer dusty but classy. The two internationally working artists graduated at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna and work since 2010 as a team under the label duller/stippl. With their rollers in the luggage they undertake tours to distant countries to paint hotel lobbies, to create Kids Worlds or to provide villas with Zeitgeist. Whether in black and white or colorful, minimalist or floral - more than 300 rollers stored in their studio in Vienna and come out when required. Besides the passion for large format wall painting duller/stippl also work on thematic image sequences that arise mostly during or following their extensive travels. Another interest is the garden. They are experienced experts for the planning and implementation of individual perennial beds and the creation of "horticultural installations" for festivals and exhibitions. They share their knowledge on a regular basis as part of lectures and workshops.
