Rugged footwear for rugged characters. Dundas Footwear was established to produce quality footwear of the highest order, but also to utilize the knowledge and experience that still exist in Europe. As more and more factories are closed down or moved to more cost-effective countries, the knowledge and tools for making products by traditional methods are dwindling. The Dundas clan name was chosen not only because it is Liam`s old family name, but because it represent hundreds of years of continuous history under the clan motto "Essayez", or "Try". The Dundas tartan is used in the heel straps on our boots, as a reminder of Dundas`great history, and to remind us to always try our best. True quality is a result of a long and painstaking process, not just the PR-drivel called "perceived quality". True quality is the customers reward for paying for a product that is made with pride, from the tannery to the workshop. Our reward is seeing a happy customer that wears his boots with pride. A pair of Dundas is the beginning of a long friendship.
