About Dundee University International Medical Society
Our primary goal is to assist and guide Dundee medics in pursuing international medical careers, by increasing awareness and providing support for students to achieve their goals. We aim to offer like-minded medics valuable insights into building portfolios that appeal to employers in Australia, the USA, Canada, the UAE, and beyond. To achieve this, we'll provide guidance on vital entrance exams, such as the USMLE, MOH Exams and establish clear timelines for exploring SSCs and overseas electives. Additionally, we seek to create a supportive community for both international medical students from abroad and Scottish students from diverse backgrounds to help them assimilate into university life which is particularly difficult for medical students and an area which we believe was lacking for us.
