About Duo Picture

Friends from high school back in Penang, Kian Ping and Jeff, collectively referred to as the duo, decided to quit their corporate jobs to embark on the journey of filmmaking in 2013. They went to Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA) and earned a ticket to the media industry when their graduation film caught the attention of juries in Crowbar Awards 2016 where they bagged some awards including the Best of Film Category Award. Since then, the duo began to direct and shoot commercials and corporate films. From scriptwriting to directing and shooting on set, the duo always work as a team, constantly pushing the boundaries to translate their imagination into crafts. Their past experience as freelance photographer during their corporate years allows them to strike a balance between telling compelling stories and crafting cinematic visuals.
