Based in Birmingham, Durferrit UK is established as the leading UK supplier for heat treatment salts in the UK. We stock a wide range of salts for heat treatment processes such as nitrocarburising, carburising, tempering and annealing. The majority of our products are manufactured at our facilities in Mannheim, Germany and are kept in stock in Birmingham for our UK customer base. Durferrit UK is a member of the privately owned French company, HEF Groupe whose operational headquarters is in Andrézieux-Bouthéon. HEF Groupe is a world leader in surface engineering with expertise in the following: • Tribology and functionalisation of surfaces. • Thermochemical treatments, in particular, controlled liquid ionic nitriding treatments. • PVD - PACVD vacuum deposition, such as DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon) and many other mechanical and tribological layers. • Friction rings and components, for example bushes and pivot pins.
