About Durham Business & Computer College
Durham Business and Computer College is a Private Vocational School that is Registered and approved by the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities of Ontario since 1984. We specialize in providing training in Business, Computers, Technology and are an authorized testing centre for CompTIA, Prometric, Pearson VUE and Kryterion. Our campuses are conveniently located in Toronto, Scarborough, Pickering and Oshawa and are easily accessible by public transit with plenty of free parking. We have the most recent version of software available and our programs are customized to meet the educational needs of our clients to ensure that they acquire the necessary technical skills to remain competitive in the labour market. Our ergonomically designed classrooms are fully instructor-led and clients with special needs can be accommodated by providing a customized workstation, flexible schedules, one on one tutoring and additional time as required to make their learning experience both comfortable and positive. We also have a ten to one student/instructor ratio, so that each student can receive the individual attention they need to be successful in their studies. Our instructors have extensive industry experience in their area of specialization and are fully certified to teach the adult learner. Their teaching methodology is practical in nature and is based on the adult learning principles to meet individual’s learning style. Teachers monitor students attendance and academic performance on a daily basis.
