About Durham Exchange Club Industries

DECI is a private, non-profit corporation operating a community-based vocational rehabilitation program. DECI trains and employs adults of Durham County with vocational disabilities in addition to operating a production facility where we perform contract work for area businesses. DECI works to serve the vocational needs of people who come to us for services. DECI also offers job placement services, where we help workers train for, obtain and sustain jobs in competitive industries throughout the Durham community. DECI staff provide the necessary job development, training and long-term support that individuals need. Our service programs are accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF), which is the national rehabilitation accreditation commission. We have placed individuals in competitive employment in dozens of area businesses. DECI is dedicated to quality work and its production operations are ISO 9001 registered with QMI-SAI Global. This focus has helped to obtain and keep contracts with major companies locally, nationally, and even globally.
