Welcome to Durham Magneto Optics Ltd. We specialize in advanced scientific instrumentation for nanotechnology research and development. Our product range includes a family of magneto-optical Kerr effect magnetometers (NanoMOKE3) and a family of direct-write laser lithography machines (MicroWriter ML). Durham Magneto Optics Ltd was founded in 2002 as a spin-off company from Professor Russell Cowburn’s nanomagnetism research group in Durham University Physics Department. During a decade of successful trading since then, DMO has deployed machines world wide.
