About Dutch for Adults

While learning a new language, we want our students to feel confident and at ease. That is why we strive for a comfortable, fun, and safe space for students. We believe that the better we know our students, the better our lessons and learning outcomes will be. At the same time, we realize that as tutors we ourselves are still, and will always, be learning. Besides teaching our language, we teach cultural customs and behaviors around it, as they are intertwined. Therefore, we help our students to grow their confidence by practicing Dutch in real-life scenarios. Dutch for Adults originated from a passion to help future expats and exchange students learn about the Dutch language and culture in a fun environment, so they can truly thrive and feel at home in The Netherlands. Our lessons are accessible to everyone: Whether you are learning by yourself or with a partner, whether you are preparing for an official exam, or just want to feel confident in your conversation skills; and whether you are a busy person with a tight schedule, or have all the time in the world to look up what we mean with koetjes and kalfjes.
