DUZcart is a mobile dust containment cart designed for ceiling access in infection control areas. It was engineered for quick and easy deployment and has been built for the rigors of daily, repetitive use. The DUZcart is an ingenious dust containment cart designed and built by people who use them every day. The DUZcart's efficient and clean design, durable materials and affordable cost make it the best choice for contractors, hospitals and all other industries needing impeccable dust and airborne pathogen containment requiring the use of negative air. In the early 2000's our parent company, telecommunications contractor Clawson Communications, was mandated to begin using dust containment carts at job-sites in infection control areas. We found the commercially available products to be inefficient, cumbersome, laborious to move, slow to deploy and broke down frequently. At best, these carts provided only a few months of daily, repetitive service, while visibly deteriorating after each use. Consequently, productivity dropped and labor costs increased. The Problem: The available products were not designed for repetitive use while keeping a clean and professional appearance to onlookers. The Solution: Engineer our own dust containment unit In February of 2003, the first prototypes of DUZcart were designed and built strictly for our own use. Less than a year later, the final design was put into use on our job sites on a daily basis with huge success. While continuing to adapt the design to meet the needs of contractors working in the field, the current DUZcart model was created. These carts quickly gained significant attention from other trades and hospital personnel. After years of declining requests to sell these units, a decision was made to make them available commercially. Since selling began in 2009, DUZcarts have been sold in multiples to contractors, inspectors and hospitals and are still used everyday across the United States and Canada
