Dynamic Lynks is a music therapy center, using music and movement to facilitate skill development in individuals of all ages through inclusive and affirming client-centered strategies. We provide individual and group music therapy sessions, yoga classes, as well as traditional and accessible voice, piano, guitar and ukulele lessons. Dynamic Lynks emphasizes client education and support through our comprehensive sessions and groups. Therapy sessions at Dynamic Lynks use a client-centered approach to spark lasting change in the mind-body connection. Through integrating music therapy techniques with current best practices, we help our clients reach their fullest potential in an effective and engaging way! In addition to exciting sessions for each of our clients, you will learn strategies to use at home to carry over skills learned in therapy for use in the real world. Music Therapy is an established healthcare profession that uses music to address the physical, emotional, cognitive, and social needs of individuals of all ages. In individual and group sessions, clients will benefit from therapeutic music experiences supporting communication, cognition, sensory regulation, social development, emotional expression, and more. Before beginning music therapy sessions, a qualified music therapist assesses each client and develops individualized goals based on the client’s areas of need. The music therapist creates a treatment plan to reach these goal areas through activities that include active music making, receptive music experiences, music creation, and more! Every music therapy session looks different because every client we support is different. Our team of board-certified music therapists create activities and therapeutic music experiences around each individual's areas of need and interests. We use music to support the development of non-musical goals to help each client reach their desired outcomes & fullest potential!
