About Dynamic Motion Company
Dynamic Motion Company (DMC) is a performance ensemble comprised of a string quartet and a small company of dancers performing on stage together. The DMC encourages creative choreography and fosters new interactions between dancers and musicians. Pairing choreography with the masterworks of the chamber music repertoire, the goal of the DMC is to reinvigorate classical music performance by adding the visual element of dance. By combining two elemental forms of human expression, music and movement, we hope to reach and engage a new and diverse audience. Through the DMC outreach program, we bring music and dance performances to schools, providing students with an opportunity to learn about and gain appreciation for the performing arts.
