About Dyslexia Correction Center
This program is designed for the child or adult who is intelligent, quick, talented, imaginative, creative, artistic, athletically gifted and who may excel in math, science, or music. The same individual may be a frustrated reader, a poor speller, hyperactive, disorganized and may have poor self-esteem. Writing, speaking, and auditory processing, as well as math story problems may present a challenge. Balance, coordination, and handwriting prove to be challenging for some. How can someone who is so bright have such a hard time? The gift of dyslexia is probably the reason someone struggles with life and with learning and yet is creative and has a high IQ. Dyslexia Correction Center uses Davis Dyslexia Correction® techniques developed by Ronald D. Davis, founder of Reading Research Council in Burlingame, California, and author of The Gift of Dyslexia, and The Gift of Learning. Licensed and certified by Davis Dyslexia Association International® since 2000, Laura Warren is owner and facilitator at the Dyslexia Correction Center.
