About E. Glenn Ward Family Foundation
Founded in 2011 by Mr. E. Glenn Ward, Jr., Mrs. Adelaide F. Ward, and several family members and friends, the E. Glenn Ward Family Foundation is an IRS-recognized 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. The primary purpose of the Foundation is to provide the infrastructure needed to support its research and educational branches. This infrastructure includes mission and heritage, governance, development and planning, operations, fundraising, and endowment. MISSION AND PURPOSE The mission of the E. Glenn Ward Family Foundation is to provide educationally supportive programs and services inclusive to men, women and children in the Chicago metropolitan area who face socioeconomic stressors. The purpose of the Foundation is to develop and to establish Ward College and to be the fundraising arm and parent institution of Ward College and of the Catalyst Educational Research Center, Inc. (CERC).
