E-J Psychotherapy & Counselling helps you (re-) make meaningful connections with the most important person you know…you. As a result of E-J’s own career & experiences, she has an understanding of the many emotional & physical challenges you can experience in work and in other areas of your life, despite looking successful on the outside. She has a particular interest in supporting leaders and managers psychotherapeutically and providing a relationship where they can be seen more completely, not just in terms of their roles and responsibilities. Having spent an entire career in predominately white & male spaces, as a black woman, E-J understands some of the code switching and impact on a person’s sense of self that this can cause. She also knows what it is to have your difference unseen, unacknowledged, dismissed and not valued. So E-J has a particular passion for those who grapple with their identity or aspects of it. E-JP&C also provides a space for those who want to explore their own privilege and its relational impact. She has a MSc in Integrative Psychotherapy from Middlesex University (Level 7) and a Clinical Diploma in Integrative Psychotherapy from Metanoia Institute (Level 7). She is an accredited member of the UKCP (UK Council for Psychotherapy) and a registered member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy). She is also a member of BAATN (Black, African & Asian Therapist Network).
