E.L.M Academy’s mission statement is to “Engage, Learn, Motivate”. We strive to enable students to acquire the knowledge, skills and qualifications, which will in turn help them secure and sustain jobs and become an expert in their field. Our success and philosophy are rooted firmly in education. Sharing our unique experience to create innovative and globally renowned hairdressing education. “Providing each learner with a diverse education and training programme in a safe, supportive environment that promotes self-discipline, motivation and outstanding teaching and learning opportunities.” E.L.M Academy was born with two founding partners, Emma and Luke Mitchell. Emma’s ever-growing experience in hairdressing teamed with Luke’s mass knowledge of business has enabled the Academy to flourish and thrive. Both Emma and Luke have developed the academy to be a dynamic, innovative, vocational training organisation that specialises in delivering high quality apprenticeships in the hairdressing and barbering sector. The training offered is designed to give all apprentices a realistic work-based experience, delivered by a dedicated team of Training Coordinators and Technical Educators who value the apprentice’s progress and achievement. The training team are acknowledged as experts in their field, and all have considerable commercial experience. We ensure that once the students leave the academy, they will have gained perfection in their craft. The courses are tailored to promote qualified student’s growth within the North of England, ensuring we are training the students with the expertise and skills required to secure a successful career.
