E&S Healthcare (E&S) is a private company to discover biomarkers by using liquid biopsy. The company was established on November 8, 2013, to commercialize research discovery of breast cancer biomarkers as an in vitro diagnostics (IVD). E&S discovered thioredoxin 1 (Trx1) protein in blood as a breast cancer biomarker and develop it to IVD. for anybody who needs diagnostic assistance. A breast cancer detection kit, DxMe® BC, based on Trx1 was certified by ISO 13485 with CE Mark. DxMe® BC kit showed a clinical sensitivity and specificity of 96.43% and 97.32%, respectively, which can provide reliable information to diagnose breast cancer with high accuracy. E&S completed a pivotal clinical trial and applied for clearance from the Korean FDA. The company successfully raised funds to series B and is preparing a KOSDAQ listing in 2023. E&S also has developed an ovarian cancer detection kit that outperformed current diagnostic kits. For user convenience, a series of fully automated ELISA machines are also developed. DxMe® BC has obtained approval from Malaysia, Serbia, and New Zealand and is currently applying 510(k) clearance from the FDA for breast cancer monitoring indications. E&S fully commits to bringing new hope to women who deserve to have healthier life over the most worrisome breast cancer.
