E2D is a non-profit organization dedicated to creating solutions to provide essential digital tools and access for all North Carolina residents, effectively eliminating "the digital divide." E2D sources corporate donations of retired computer hardware and refurbishes them in our three Technology Labs. E2D is proud to hire, train and employ its Technology Lab technicians from Charlotte Region high schools. Our goals are to place low-cost or no-cost computers into homes of families for whom the costs of computers would be otherwise unaffordable.
