E3D is a 3D printing technology company that is driven to change the way that humanity manufactures goods. We do so by developing and supplying highly engineered and customised nozzles and extrusion systems for FDM-type 3D printers around the world. For the layman: we develop and sell the, surprisingly nuanced and technically complex, components that process (melt and extrude) the plastic in a 3D printer. Based in the heart of the Oxfordshire countryside our team are busy with fundamental research, product development, manufacture, assembly, QC, and logistics. Our advanced products are shipped around the world, destined for high quality printer manufacturers and discerning hobbyists alike. At E3D we are our people. We are helpful to our customers, and to each other. E3D started in 2012 and is fully owned and run by two co-founders – Dave & Josh, both makers at heart and passionate about 3D printing. Tragically in 2021 we lost Sanjay, the third founder. Sanjay was a creative genius that contributed so much to the technology that put E3D on the map. E3D is a huge part of Sanjay’s legacy, and we forge on in his honour.
