Over 20 years ago, Daniel Bland & Jamie Phipps began working in the electrical trade for the same company on large construction sites, multiple unit blocks, Shop Fit outs & Luxury Homes. Daniel started Advent Electrics in 1997 having finished his apprenticeship, and Jamie began his own business, E4 Electrical Services, in 2000. Both Daniel & Jamie were confident and highly motivated to run their respective businesses having been trained by highly skilled and multi-talented tradesman. Both give credit to those guys who helped and mentored them along the way. As their two separate companies grew, they began forging excellent reputations & relationships with many builders & clients. As both businesses began to take on larger jobs, they often found themselves joining forces to help one another. Daniel built a successful shop fit-out team he ran with up and down the east coast of Australia, sometimes venturing into the skirts of Adelaide while also supporting builders and home owners in Sydney. Jamie and his team were also kept busy in Sydney, looking after a new build of a large scale factory plant with many additional office fit-out jobs picked up from the office furniture factory he was servicing. The commercial & industrial work, along with servicing builders & home owners, had Jamie and his team in high demand, as well. Great work leads to a great reputation, and with a continuation of repeat customers and a growing base of new clients and builders, all through recommendations, Daniel and Jamie found they could not keep up with their customers’ demands. Both businesses they had built were very similar, and rather than compete, they decided to join together. In 2011, both Daniel & Jamie finally decided to incorporate their separate entities into E4 Electrical Group. The new structures they were able to put in place have enabled them to grow and evolve to better service their clients.
