The company was founded in 2007 by former expert staff of the Austrian Energy Agency and is based in Vienna, Austria. Selected cross-cutting fields of e7 are: * Law development / policy dialogue: identification of gaps in existing legal framework; harmonizing, development and improvement of regulatory frameworks; support in design of policies, mechanisms, strategies and support programs as well as transposition of EU legislation according to the EU ‘acquis’ (EED and EPBD). * Financing facilities: development of Green Economy Financing Facilities / Sustainable Energy Financing Facilities, financing products and verification of investments. * Action plans and concepts: assistance to countries and cities to set strategic objectives, implementation and MVE of energy efficiency action plans (e.g. NEEAP); development of sustainable energy supply concepts for urban development areas. * Capacity building and promotion: advise organisations on (e-)learning, training, change processes and knowledge transfer. This was especially approved within EBRD policy dialogue projects. * Home Owner Associations: assisting municipalities and cities to develop and implement HOA’s (condominium) and mobilising additional private energy investments. * ESCO market: development of energy service company markets and market specific energy services.
