About Eagle Valley Child Care Association
About EVCCA The Eagle Valley Child Care Association is committed to raising the quality and availability of child care in Eagle County. With the support of business leaders, town and county government and parents, the EVCCA centers meet a growing need in the community. The EVCCA adheres to the Creative Curriculum which emphasizes a rich and carefully organized child centered classroom environment. This approach stresses art, creativity and imagination through encouraging process over product. The role of our parents in the educational process is essential. To promote the parent-teacher alliance, all parents are encouraged to join the Parent Advisory Committee. History of the EVCCA In 2000, Eagle County Government officials teamed up with the Town of Vail and local businesses to develop innovative solutions to the rising issue of quality child care availability. This partnership led to the opening of Vail Child Care Center in 2001, and Miller Ranch Child Care Center in 2006. Since 2000, the EVCCA has expanded their goals to provide options for child care to accommodate more families in the Valley.
