About EAPE European Association of Professors Emeriti

EAPE has been founded on 2016 to include Emeriti Professors from all European Universities, and corresponding members. The founding congress was held under the Auspices of H.E. the President of the Hellenic Republic in Athens and was attended by 68 founding members. To date the Association counts about 200 active members from 15 Countries. The seat of the Association is in Athens, Greece. EAPE is structured in 9 Scientific Sections, especially involved in the organization of webinars, workshops treating science, technology, medicine, economics, literature, philosophy. EAPE aims at having a voice in the matter of the huge current world problems (environment, climate, sustainability, circular economy). EAPE has a ISSN registered Bulletin appearing 3-4 times a year; it contains peer reviewed original articles, editorals, news, and all published issues can be freely downloaded or viewed on the EAPE website. Moreover, everyone interested to keep up to date with the latest news from the Association, can freely download or view EAPE Newsletter. The biannual EAPE International Congresses "The Capital of Knowledge" were held in Athens (2019), Naples (2022), London (2024). The organization of the EAPE International Congress "One Health" (Naples, 27-29 May 2025) is in progress.
