About Eastbourne Food Partnership

Eastbourne Food Partnership brings together organisations and individuals committed to creating food systems that nourish our communities, our health and our planet. We believe that everyone, regardless of background or situation, should be able to enjoy good food and participate in a diverse, equitable and sustainable local food culture. We are a non-profit Community Interest Company, and we endeavour to make our governance as inclusive as possible, led by a cross-sector steering group. As an umbrella organisation, the CIC provides structured opportunities for the food support organisations (eg foodbank, community fridges, homeless support etc), food growing organisations (eg community allotments, forest gardens, schools), food producers and retailers, academics and relevant local authority members to connect, collaborate and progress activity. We are also proud members of national networks Sustainable Food Places and Feeding Britain, enabling us to link our local platform to national movements for food system transformation.
