About Eastern Nebraska Community Action Partnership
Mission: ENCAP provides high-impact programs to help people get ahead. Eastern Nebraska Community Action Partnership (ENCAP) has been implementing high-impact programs and services in response to pressing community needs since 1965. Primarily serving North Omaha and Bellevue, ENCAP provides services to over 20,000 individuals annually including: Financial Hardship Assistance including rent, utility, medical, and transportation-related support, in addition to ongoing case management and resource referrals; Senior Wellness, Food Distribution/Nutrition Support, and the Bellevue Food Pantry. ENCAP’s core values reflect the mission, and were developed through our strategic planning process this year to support our vision of driving change in the community. Those values are as follows: Authentic: We build connections; Versatile: We listen, learn, and adapt; Results-Driven: We demonstrate impact. In both Douglas and Sarpy Counties, individuals and families know ENCAP as an agency able to assist them during a crisis, provide support services that will help them prevent future crises, and build the skills, hope, and social capital they need to envision and work toward a bright future.
