Eat-a-Pitta is rapidly gaining momentum as fast food with a difference, the difference being healthy food that is fast, fresh, flavourful and exciting. Following a successful presentation to the Prince’s Trust in 2011, we got unanimous approval to start our own local street food business under the brand of ‘Eat a Pitta’ in St Nicholas market, Bristol. Since then we have grown to include 4 retail units, the others being in Broadmead City centre, Queens road & Gloucester road. From day one the concept of healthy, fresh middle eastern food prepared with meticulous care and attention to detail has proven successful. From humble beginnings we are proud to have grown our ‘Eat a Pitta’ family to include over 65 team members. The long queues and excellent customer feedback is a testimony to our success. We are reassured by this, and therefore we embark on an ambitious growth plan for the business. We remain steadfast in our belief that Eat a Pitta has a bright future ahead of it and have proven that there is an ever increasing demand for our product, a healthy alternative in the fast food industry that represents good value for money and does not compromise on flavour. Freshness is key and with this in mind, all our food preparation is done in house to maintain quality and consistency across the board. We are proud to be able to offer our customers a product which boasts a 99% healthy vegan menu, and are able to cater for a wide range of allergies and intolerances. In addition, we are also recipients of a Gold level Bristol Eating Better Award and the Sugar Smart Bristol Award. Now we are excited to announce the launch of ‘Eat a Pitta Events’, to compliment our already thriving retail business. The new project is particularly significant as it enables our customers to enjoy our famous falafel, hummus, pittas and salads in a setting of their choosing, whether that be home, office or other venue.
