About Eat Breathe Thrive
MISSION Our mission is to prevent and help people recover from eating disorders. We offer programs that combine yoga, psychoeducation, and peer support to ‘help people help one another’ on the path to recovery. OUR IMPACT Over the last ten years, we have helped over 10,000 people in 58 countries find their way to recovery. We offer eating disorder prevention and recovery programs in schools, treatment centers, virtual settings, and communities that face barriers to healthcare access. Our programs are yoga-based, but they’re more than yoga – we integrate yoga, psychoeducation, and a support group format to help people learn skills to grow and thrive. HOW WE WORK We focus on three key areas: Support: We provide programs to help people with eating disorders learn skills for mindful eating, emotional resilience, and positive embodiment. Education: We teach yoga teachers and mental healthcare providers how to safely and impactfully integrate yoga in their work. Research: We support research on yoga in the prevention and treatment of eating disorders.
