Eatology is a unique service offering psychological and nutritional support for sustainable weight management, health and well-being. Our aim is to transform your relationship with food, your body and mind. We believe that optimum health is not achieved through miracle pills, fad diets or gruelling workouts and have created a philosophy based on four principles... EAT, MOVE, MIND, UNWIND Founder, Claire Feldman, has been working as a qualified Cognitive Behavioural Therapist for five years but a passion for health led her to pursue a Diploma in Nutrition and Lifestyle Coaching. She believes we’ve lost touch with what it means to feel well and eat well. Our busy lifestyles and the stress of the modern-day, ‘always-on’ culture. We too often look for easy solutions in products, instant fixes, which have been backed by heavy marketing campaigns and bold claims: “lose one stone in a week” etc. If it sounds too good to be true, it is. Although a change in diet can very easily result in weight loss, research tells us that the loss tends to be short term and the weight is often regained, sometimes even more. Weight-loss plans often have a “one size fits all” approach and fail to address some of the core fundamentals that impact weight, such as: 1) emotional reasons as to why people eat, 2) lifestyle, 3) stress levels, 4) medical conditions, 5) sleep quality and 6) physical limitations. Only by looking at ourselves individually and addressing all factors that make up our overall wellbeing, can sustainable health improvements be made. We are all unique and therefore the Eatology approach is personalised to your needs. Eatology will develop a deep relationship with you where we truly get to understand you, hear your story and help you to overcome the hurdles which you may have previously stumbled over.
