About ECAP

ECAP ist ein gemeinnütziges und nicht gewinnorientiertes Erwachsenenbildungsinstitut in der Schweiz. Der Hauptsitz ist in Zürich, schweizweit gibt es neun Regionalstellen. Mit ihren Angeboten ermöglicht die interkulturelle Organisation die Bildung von Migrantinnen und Migranten sowie generell von Arbeitnehmenden, auch mit geringer formeller Ausbildung. Mit jährlich über 40’000 Teilnehmenden ist ECAP das zweitgrösste Erwachsenenbildungsinstitut der Schweiz. ECAP hat in den bald 50 Jahren ihres Bestehens unzähligen Migrantinnen und Migranten sowie ebenso vielen Arbeitnehmenden ermöglicht, aktiv am Leben in der Schweiz teilzunehmen. Die über 850 Mitarbeitenden von ECAP sind seit Juli 2016 einem eigenen Gesamtarbeitsvertrag unterstellt, der in der Erwachsenenbildung als beispielhaft gilt. Unter anderem werden die Mitarbeitenden grosszügig in ihrer beruflichen Weiterbildung unterstützt.
