About ECHO Science Communication Hub

Ensuring that research generates maximum impact in society, providing tangible value to all stakeholders involved. This is ECHO's vision. To achieve this, we employ innovative, collaborative, strategic, evidence-based, and data-driven approaches to communication, dissemination, and public engagement activities, reducing the gap between research and practice in science communication. As the science communication hub of the Ca' Foscari University of Venice Foundation, ECHO provides consulting services to scientific groups and institutions in the frame of national and international project proposals and initiatives. The applied method involves co-designing strategies and actions to maximize the impact of research among relevant stakeholders. ECHO promotes the connection between research in science communication topics and its implementation. The results of the European project Quality and Effectiveness of Science and Technology Communication (QUEST) and other projects funded by the Horizon 2020 program - Science with and for Society inspire our approaches.
