About Echoing Hope Ranch

The guiding philosophy of Echoing Hope Ranch is to acknowledge each person as a dynamic human being and help them build a full and satisfying life. Our programs include residential (Individually Designed Living Arrangement, IDLA), day program (Day Treatment Training and Treatment, Adult, DTA), employment (Supported Employment, SE), habilitation (Home and Community Based Services, HCBS) and respite care. For those in our Residential program who live in homes on and off the ranch, staff assists with cooking, meal planning, cleaning, budgeting, emotional and health support. In our Day Program, participants work on socialization, play games centered on developing verbal and fine motor skills, do crafts individually and as part of a group and have outings to activities and events in the community. The Group Supported Employment program provides the opportunity to work in a productive job, have income and the option to spend it how they choose. Participants develop skills by caring for the ranch animals and the endless myriad of tasks needing done on a ranch. Those tasks include cleaning and clearing the property, fixing, repairing, painting and building. Habilitation and Respite services are in community homes. Habilitation services focuses on goals outlined in participant’s planning documents. The skills worked on may include relationship building, travel skills, educational support and developing a sense of self-advocacy. Respite is short-term care. For families and caregivers that are experiencing stress, exhaustion or burnout, respite care has many benefits.
