About Eclipso
Right now, we are an At-Home Establishment following Texas Cottage Law offering original baked goods, custom cakes, custom cookies, wedding/event planning services, and a community for artists and musicians through our website and connections. Our goal is to eventually open up our own bakery & cafe establishment that serves as a safe place for people to find community and enjoy the arts. Throughout my life, art has always been an important thing for me and my battle with a mental illness, whether it be through painting, dancing, singing, acting, or baking. Here at Eclipso, we believe in breaking the mold of who an artist is. Art exists in various forms. Art is something we do, a verb. Art is an expression of our thoughts, emotions, intuitions, and desires, but it is even more personal than that: it's about sharing the way we experience the world. Art has been described as being a connection of the mind and body and has been found to promote mental health and spiritual well-being. It helps people work through traumas, fears, anxieties, etc. Our mission is to create a space in which a community forms. A community where creatives/artists of all origins and levels come together to share or enjoy the moments, the still frames, the soundtracks, and the stories that make up the journey of our lives. Artistic self-expression or engagement has been shown to be a means of improving mental health and well-being. In support of mental health, 100% of our profits are donated to NAMI (National Alliance of Mental Illness).
