ECO Block is simple, fast to construct, energy efficient, Insulated Concrete Formwork (ICF) System complete with battens. ECO Block is low tech and easy to use, with only three components: Panels, Connectors and Braces, which are delivered flat packed on site ready to go. Once they are assembled the formwork stacks together like Lego™, reinforcing steel is then placed inside the wall as required. The wall is then braced, and after a final pre-pour check, the concrete is ready to be placed into the formwork. Once the wall has been poured the adjustable braces are used to straighten the wall if required do to so. This results in a continuous single monolithic concrete wall. The EPS Formwork remains in place providing insulation and soundproofing. The formwork has pre-moulded battens embedded in the wall every 200mm. These battens provide a secure attachment for any internal and external cladding system.
